The Specific Category covers operations that present a greater risk than that of the Open Category, or where one or more elements of the operation fall outside the boundaries of the Open Category (see our FAQ page).

• We also hold a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Operational Authorisation for an Operating Safety Case (OSC) for Reduced Separation Distances while using a multi-rotor drone. This permission allows us to take-off and land as close as 5m and fly as close as 10m from uninvolved People, Vessels, Vehicles and Structures not under the control of the Remote Pilot. This permission is currently only held by approximately 1% of all the CAA Approved UAS Operators in the UK. 

• We are members of ARPAS-UK, the Professional Trade Association for Remotely Piloted Aircraft and Systems in the UK. 

• We are trained in Aerial Mapping and Photogrammetry using Multi-Rotor UAS.

• Our insurance cover is fully compliant with EU regulation EC785/2004 and we can provide between £5-10 million cover to suit your requirements.

• All our inspections and surveys are carried out in strict accordance with current Health & Safety Executive and CAA Regulations. We are also CSCS Card and Enhanced DBS Certificate holders.

• We operate a policy of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance our skills and knowledge to ensure we provide the safest and best services possible.

• Being Specialist Roofing Surveyors and Consultants as well as a CAA Approved Drone Operator means we are also able to speedily analyse the captured imagery and data in-house to provide detailed Visual Condition Reports including recommendations and measured take-offs.
